Winter Break in San Jose Del Cabo, Day 6

We spent yesterday at the LA Posada Real and today we migrated to our final resort, the Hyatt Ziva.  We’ve tried various alcoholic drinks, and today tried out the Hyatt fish tacos…

Yummy fish tacos, but not quite up to the standard of the Holiday Inn,which featured grilled onions and a Chipotle sauce that was more smokey. These were also good with the addition of cabbage, but we prefer the other ones.

Winter Break in San Jose Del Cabo, Day 4

San Jose del Cabo… observations from the Holiday Inn Resort, an all inclusive resort.  When the alcohol flows freely, strangers in the morning become best friends by mid-day. The happy drunks are unleashed from within and they gleefully yell “F**kin A!” while all the kids laugh at them because these two fathers just happen to be enjoying themselves at the main kiddie pool. Me, on the other hand, have not yet enjoyed a drop of alcohol as I recover from my bout of making the mistake of having ice and fresh fruits and washed veggies from Sunday. I have managed to eat a little rice and a banana so that is a start. At least I am being entertained, and as I write this my favorite “F**kin A!” guy has just stumbled and crashed into his lounge chair in front of me and is being helped by some dude who just happened to be nearby. Ah, vacation.

Winter Break in San Jose Del Cabo, Day 3 Montezuma’s Revenge

Great day Saturday and Sunday. But I woke up early Monday morning at 4am to some pretty awful stomach pains. And let’s just say that the rest of the day was spent very close to a restroom. We had to check out of our hotel at 2pm, and fortunately our next hotel was just a short bus ride away.  Unfortunately for me, my visions of pigging out on food and drinking a variety of alcoholic cocktails became just a pipe dream as all that my stomach could stomach was water and saltine crackers.
