One of my favorite happy hours in Portland… it is rare when Lisa and I are on the east side and able to take advantage, but Sunday night we just happened to be in the area after listening to a vocal concert. The happy hour offerings include drinks and food specials like these massive nachos! $5 plus another $3 for chicken, steak or pork carnitas. Yum!
Continuing our training for the Seattle rock and roll half marathon next month, Adam, Jonas and I brave the trails at Tryon Creek State Recreation Area. It was a cold start and muddy and slippery in spots, but we accomplished over six miles of trail running at a 12 minute per mile pace, which is a victory since there were many Hills that challenged our muscles.
School field trip to one of my favorite parks in Portland: Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden. The morning was cloudy but not a drop of rain and it was a perfect 60 degrees. I love Portland!
